This is sort of experimental. This forum is in the "Public Area", meaning that anything posted here is visible to non-members all over the world. (Well, not the whole world, since I banned all IP addresses serviced by the RIPE Network Coordination Centre aka "spammer central"). So, anybody not on the Europe or Asia continents can read whatever is posted in this section of the forum.

The settings on this area are configured to "auto-prune" posts, meaning your topic will be automatically deleted 14 days after the last posting to the topic, or 14 days after it is last read. That's the theory anyway. This should prevent really old and expired announcements from collecting. We shall see if that works as expected.

I can occasionally be found at the Music Cafe in Damascus on Saturdays from 12noon to 3pm.
Anyone is welcome to drop by, if I'm there you'll find me by the table with various fliers, brochures, and information on various organizations, etc. Usually I'm wearing either green or brown cotton style 'pants' and green or 'hippy' style shirt or general casual attire with tennis shoes.

No RSVP required, but if you email/call a day in advance I can let you know if I'm going to be there for sure or not for those traveling more than 20 minutes or so.
